Bottom of the list

So, the UK is bottom of the renewable energy list. How can we convince the UK government it's time to wake up?

This is a tricky one!

My daughter does way more in her science lessons at school than I ever did (she's 9). So does that mean that the next generation of leaders will _know_ that something needs to be done, and have the knowledge to do it?

I wonder whether that will be too late? Witness the spiralling fuel prices at the moment, what will happen if domestic energy prices go the same way?

Rob, yes there will be a more informed generation but they will be too late unless we do something very soon. Last Friday I went to a Transition Towns meeting in Chesterfield where they showed 'The Power of Community' film about what Cuba did when the USSR collapsed. It was very positive and showed that making changes to survive peak oil and climate change is not all doom and gloom and can even be fun!
